APD investigating shooting death of motorcycle driver

ALBUQUERQUE – APD officers responded shortly after 3 p.m. to reports of a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Alameda Blvd. and Corrales Rd., N.W.
When officers arrived they discovered one motorcycle had stuck a vehicle in opposing traffic. The driver of the motorcycle, an adult male, was found to have suffered a gunshot wound prior to the wreck. The victim died as a result of his wounds.
APD’s Homicide Unit is currently investigating the death.
