Adopted by the City Council on June 4th, 2012.
Councilor Debbie O’Malley is pleased to announce the community-driven update of the Los Duranes Sector Development Plan.
City Councilor Isaac Benton worked with the City’s Department of Municipal Development (DMD) regarding traffic safety and stop sign reconfiguration in the Raynolds Addition and Barelas Neighborhoods.
The amendments to the Sawmill Wells Park Sector Plan establish a circulation master plan for a Focus Area within the two neighborhoods. The Focus Area is defined approximately on the north by Interstate 40 (I-40), on the west by Rio Grande Boulevard, on the south by Mountain Road, and on the east by 12th Street, Bellamah Avenue NW, and 8th Street.
The primary goal of developing this Neighborhood Traffic Management Plan is to identify in a coherent way the problematic issues with regard to traffic and parking that residents of the Summit Park and North Campus neighborhood are facing.
The City Council drafted several versions of legislation to support West Central area community development groups to help implement the West Central MRA Plan.
