Accessibility
The KiMo Theater was built in 1927 and is a Registered Historic Landmark. Due to the original design and construction of the building, there are some limitations to accessibility. The main floor of the building is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act and is accessible to all audience members and performers with four wheelchair and companion seating areas in the auditorium. The KiMo was built without an elevator, or any room to install one. The balcony and upper floors of the building may not be accessible to some persons due to the several flights of stairs.
